This project was first posted last month and has gotten a lot of attention from the Google SketchUp sci-fi community. Now a great making-of video has been posted on YouTube as well. Highly recommended.

This is a real gem, unbelievable detail in this model of the Star Trek ship as featured in the latest movie of the franchise.
The ship is being modeled by Liam from the UK.

In the current last post in the thread on the SketchUcation Community Forums Liam mentions all work may be lost as a result of a hardware failure.
